SAMIA VILLA WINS RECOGNITION AT
HOMES OVERSEAS AWARDS

‘Simply Magical’ is how one of the judges at this year’s Homes Overseas Awards described Samia Villa.
Designed and built by Cybarco Ltd, Cyprus’ premier developer, Samia Villa won huge acclaim from the judges for its stylish appearance, detailed finish and liveable accommodation.
The villa, located within the prestigious Aphrodite Hills golf, leisure and residential development near Paphos, is owned by a Hampshire couple who named the villa after their two young children. ‘It’s the perfect environment for family holidays’, said Kim Stradling, mother of Sam and Mia, ‘a wonderful place for the children, with so many activities to keep them busy. This house is the perfect get away for us, with a bright, open feel to every room, a sense of calm and a view that is breathtaking.’
That view takes in the Mediterranean sea, the Cabell Robinson championship golf course and the forest, carob and olive groves that make up the protected landscape within the development. With the Stradlings’ specifications of a family home in mind, Cybarco designed this five bedroom property overlooking one of the two plateaux that form the heart of this already highly acclaimed, low density development.
The villa, with large pool and garden was designed to maximise the feeling of space both internally and externally. Clean-cut lines and open plan living enhance the spacial dynamics, whilst stylish, yet practical, interior design enhances the sophisticated, but ‘child friendly’ environment. Positioned towards the side of the ravine, the outlook is extensive, resulting in a sense of unlimited boundaries.
Aphrodite Hills has afforded much praise since Cybarco completed the master plan for the 578 acre site five years ago. As the first fully integrated development of its kind on the Island, the type and quality of facility it would provide generated fevered interest. The careful design and high standard of construction that is sympathetic to the stunning natural environment, has more than satisfied the interest, with appreciation from discerning purchasers across the globe.
Whilst the challenging golf course and its complementary state-of-the-art golf academy have been an obvious draw, no less popular have been the excellent tennis facilities, top of the range spa – The Retreat – & health centre and range of shops & restaurants, including fine dining at the Intercontinental Hotel, which together have fashioned an urbane independent community.

The Aphrodite Villas, such as Mark & Kim’s have proved to be amongst the most sought after properties within the development, in part due to their prime location around the magnificent golf course and more specifically because of apposite and detailed construction. As such, there are only four of these villas left for sale.
