Marking an increased demand and indicating to the building success, sales and reservations of The Oval’s office spaces have already exceeded 65% with sales and reservations of €40 million.
Construction activities are making rapid progress, with concrete works of the building structure now completed along with the metal framing on its curved exterior.
The frame of aluminium structural wall of the South and North facades is at 90% completion. Also the first two layers (there are 6 in total) of the shell structure, forming the OVAL shape, have already been completed and we are currently in the process of placing layers 3 & 4, estimated to be completed by the end of October. The completion of the shell is expected around the end of January.
Work on the interior has also commenced with 75% of all internal finishes now installed and expected to be completed by the end of the year. Over and above this, the central plant room of geothermy and firefighting are completed and fresh air recovering equipment and supply ducts have been installed. Electrical equipment and cables are fitted in common areas almost to 80%. Three out of four high speed lifts are installed.
The dismantling of the tower crane will take place around end of October and The Ovals tenants are expected to start moving in by the end of March 2017.
