Job Summary: 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager with a background in Civil Engineering to join our team. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing real estate projects from inception to completion. You will monitor progress and technical performance, and oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned properties. This role involves supporting the project team, creating budgets and timelines, and ensuring projects progress according to plan.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets.

·       Coordinate project activities and support project teams, including contractors and vendors.

·       Manage project documentation, including contracts and change orders.

·       Monitor project progress and performance, and help address issues as they arise, both during construction and after project delivery.

·       Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress and address concerns.

·       Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.

·       Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects stay within budget.

·       Help develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to lead and oversee the accounting function of the Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely completion of financial records, statutory reporting, tax compliance, audit coordination, and management reporting.

This is a key role within the Finance Department, requiring strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work closely with senior finance leadership and internal stakeholders to support effective financial governance and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the accurate and timely posting of accounting entries across group companies, including payroll, utilities, fuel expenses, intercompany recharges, and other financial transactions.
• Manage invoicing processes, customer collections, intercompany recharges, and the preparation and maintenance of sales agreements in the ERP system.
• Prepare and review monthly sales reports, consolidating information received from sales managers and other stakeholders.
• Maintain VAT control accounts, prepare and submit VAT returns, ensure timely VAT payments, and manage documentation for reduced VAT eligibility where applicable.
• Register and maintain customer and supplier records, business units, accounts, and company data in the accounting/ERP system.
• Coordinate external audits, prepare the necessary financial information and schedules, and act as a key point of contact for auditors.
• Support the preparation of budgets, management accounts, reconciliations, and financial analysis in collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer.
• Handle financial information requests, reports, and correspondence with banks and other external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure deadlines are met, workflows are aligned, and accounting operations run efficiently.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes, internal controls, reporting quality, and system usage.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Qualified or part-qualified member of a recognised professional accounting body, such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
• Previous experience in a senior accounting or supervisory role.
• Strong experience in statutory reporting, VAT and tax compliance, audit coordination, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Experience working with ERP or accounting systems.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
